Chapter 25

Sorry I haven't posted in  a while but the blog is ending soon and I will try to finish it as quickly as possible in the next two weeks xx

Its been a month since I talked to Majed and I was back home. I don't miss him as much as I thought I would. I put " At the Baqala " on my pm on BBM and got dressed to walk to it. When I left I saw Ahmed there as if he was waiting for me. I tried so hard to ignore him but I couldn't. I turned to look at him and he waved and smiled at me. I smiled back and waved. As I got to the end of the path to the road, Ahmed came out onto the road infront of me. He opened up his arms to me and I leaned it. He held me tight for over 2 minutes until we realised where we were.

For those who haven't guessed already, we are in a relationship.

He let go suddenly and whispered " A7biich " in my ear. I blushed like crazy and he pinched my cheeks. I told him I would meet him in his living room with food and a movie. I went to the baqala & got us those ring cheese chips - MY FAV! - popcorn, galaxy, some 7up, more chocolates and sweets and finally redbull. I knew it was going to be a great night. I walked back to his house and just walked in. ( I was allowed to as I was considered part of the family:$ . Um Ahmed treated me like her daughter). I made my way to the living room and saw him in his a&f shorts and a t-shirt. I put the movie on and sat next to him. I got a bowl from the kitchen and put the chips inside & another with the popcorn. We were sitting really close to eachother and I suddenly felt his hand on my shoulder. He pulled me closer so I was resting on him. I could feel his heart beating very fast. He was nervous!!! I just love how all the little things are actually huge things. I feel like he's my soul mate. I honestly did love him, more than anyone could imagine. He always lights up my world and can change my mood so quickly. I love being around him.

The movie finished and I had to leave. As usual, he hugged me for over 2 minutes. While we we were hugging,

His mum: SHTSWOOON??!!

He quickly let go and was speechless. He tried to rg3 the salfa bs y3ny he failed

Ahmed: Uhhh la Yuma bs y3ny she tripped fa I helped her up tdreen oo chnna 3wrt her leg fa sa3dt.ha.

Um Ahmed: Ahaa salamat Jenanooo

Shockingly she believed it and she left the room. I just looked at him and burst out laughing.

Jenan: Mn9jiiik???!!! I tripped y3ny you couldn’t have thought of anything better? Ashkra she doesn’t believe you.

Ahmed went to the door and locked it and then swept me off my feet. I was screaming and kicking him and he was twirling me around and lunged into a kiss. The rush I got when he did was so thrilling. He looked deep into my eyes and I smiled. I could feel my cheeks burning up.

Ahmed: Lil7ain tst7een mnyy? 7ilfay?

Jenan: Haha ahmed chuuuuuuuuub!!!

Ahmed: Sorry sorry ha wanna go out?

Jenan: Sure. 9ij msht.hya Pinkberry

Ahmed: Bs 3shaniich -.-‘

So I left his house and hopped into his silver FJ. He started the engine and reversed out. I couldn’t help but keep staring at him and smiling. He looked at me and smiled back and then kept his eyes on the road. It took about 10 minutes and we arrived. The good thing was that it wasn’t za7ma. We walked into Pinkberry hand in hand. This girl and guy were staring at us and giving us dirty looks which made no sense cz they were doing the same. After we ordered 1 large cup to share, we sat down. Suddenly Majed walked in with these to b****es on each arm.  It disgusted me  seeing him like this. I could tell he wasn’t happy but put a smile on his face just for show. I made sure he didn’t see me looking at him and turned to talk to Ahmed. After he ordered for them they passed our table and one of the girls said

Girl 1: Woiii Majuudii shufha. Wai3 sij ga7pa .

Girl 2: Eee wai3 shno hatha

Majed looked over to the table with a disgusted on his face and when he noticed it was me his expression changed. It changed to hatred especially when he saw that I was holding Ahmed’s hand.

Majed: Haha ee wai3

I was PISSED. Ahmed kept telling me to calm down but I couldn’t. WTF!!! He seriously annoyed me. I got up and made sure Ahmed wouldn’t interrupt.

Jenan: N3m? 5aaiiir? Laysh t6al3ny chthy? Oo intaw *I looked at both of the girls* shufow nfskm awl b3dain gulow innee “ga7pa” 3la gooltkum. 9iij mu mtrbeeeen 3dl!

Majed: Hey inta latklmeenhum chthy tra ma artha 3laihm

Jenan: Mn mta inta chthy ya Majed. 3umrii ma sm3tk tgul chthy 7gii lma knt at.hawsh m3a l nas. Shd3wa your bitches are more important?

I  couldn’t help but laugh. He looked at me from top to bottom.

Majed: Ana a7ibhum oo they love me. You broke up with me remember ;) Intay MALICH SH3’L FEENY IL7AIN!!! Yalla imshaw

Girl 2: Laish you waste your time m3a hathy? Wai3

They left and I went back to my seat. I knew Ahmed was pissed at me but I couldn’t take it. Ahmed told me to get up so we can leave and I did. We got back in the car and I could hear him breathing fast. I knew what was coming.

Khaled: Bs.. Majed is cheating on you

It was like I was driving so fast on a long road and it suddenly ended, making me brake hard. I was in shock.

Khaled: Madry 7sait it is better for me to tell you than you finding out some other way. Walla asfa L

Jenan: Majed? Cheating on me? After a year and a bit? How long was this going on for?

By then I was tearing up. I tried taking my skates off and Khaled helped.

Khaled: Meet me outside and agoulich kil shay oo itha ma tbeen a7d yshufna t3aly syarti

He left and I got everything ready to leave. I got my b6aqa back and my bag in my hand. I looked for Khaled’s silver FJ with the police sticker on the window and back. I heard him beep and I went towards the car. I wasn’t afraid of going into the car with him because he was faithful to his girl and he wouldn’t do anything to hurt her. He unlocked the doors and I got in. It smelled of cigarette smoke but there was a hint of a girls perfume. I knew it was hers. He locked the car when I was in. He was driving just to go anywhere instead of being parked.

Jenan: Yulla answer me.

Khaled: It’s been 6 months.

That’s why we began to fight im sure of it. It was probably when he found that girl.

Jenan: Inzayn Khaled laysh ma gltly mn gbl. I thought you were my best friend

Khaled: Im sorry bs I was his best friend too you know. I promised him I wouldn’t tell you.

Jenan: What do you mean was? You guys don’t talk?

Khaled: After he told me I was in shock and I didn’t want him to continue being like this. So I stopped talking to him.

Jenan: Oh….

I was speechless. I couldn’t believe Majed was like that. He seemed so innocent and made me believe every word.

Khaled: Jenan la tt.thaygaiin. 9dgeeny he’s not worth it. If he can’t be happy with a girl like you there is something wrong with him. Mashalla Jenan you are amazing. Mo ga3da agul you are perfect bs y3ny akeed you have done something wrong in your life oo im not judging but I’m just saying you are 100000 times better than him and shouldn’t waste your time and brain on a guy like that.

That just put a sudden smile to my face knowing that there are people who will do anything to see me smile.

Khaled: Eee that’s how I want to see you. Yalla nriid? Wanna skate and get your mind off things? Walla I’ll make sure he isn’t there.

Jenan: Mmmm yalla ok.  Walla Khaled I cant thank you enough. 9jj 9ijj you are amazing Oo walla a7biik wayiid. You are the best brotha from anatha matha (I said in a gangster kinda way).

Khaled: Hahaaaaa la laaa Janooon tkfa don’t ever say that again

Jenan: Ok ok

We both couldn’t help but laugh until we reached the ice skating rink. I walked in with Khaled and he paid for both our tickets. I got my skates on and quickly went on the ice. It felt great. My mind was completely blank. There was a cold breeze and I felt like I was on the clouds until Khaled purposely bumped into me and made me fall. After that I was trying to chase him but he has been skating longer so yea he’s better.

After the session was done I decided to go straight home without hanging around. I said bye to Khaled and when I got home I slept. I tried to keep Majed out of my mind and I kind of did until he sent me a text.

Majed: 7uby  I’m sorry I had to leave mbchr bs family problems you know.

What a BIG FAT LIE.

Jenan: Mmm family probs wla girlfriend issues ;) I know about her btw.

Jenan: You still with her? Well have fun “gulbi”  :D

I captured our convo and sent it to Khaled. He just said how childish he was being and sent me a convo between Majed and this girl. Khaled told me that’s the girl he had been dating. The convo went like this:

Just a little bit of advice.....

Girls: You should be careful with who you love. Honestly, dont love before marriage cz its not worth it. A guy can play on you and make you believe every word he said when it isn't even true. Take it from me and my experience. Like they say : IF YOU AREN'T HAPPY SINGLE, YOU WON'T BE HAPPY IN A RELATIONSHIP. YOU SHOULD LOVE YOURSELF AND BE HAPPY LOVING YOURSELF BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE LOVES YOU. (Or something like that) :D
BTW: Your masacara is too expensive to cry over a guy xx (Keep that in mind)

Guys: Im not saying all of you are the same but what you do to a girl shows the man you are. If you treat her like shit it shows how unmanly you are. If you love her with all your heart you will wait for her. NEVER EVER EVER FORCE A GIRL TO DO SOMETHING SHE DOESNT WANT TO.

My thoughts ( Jenan's )

He always made me laugh and smile. When I see him, he smiles too showing his dimples. I thought this was going to last till forever. I thought our relationship was perfect and everyone used to always say we made such a cute couple and were perfect for each other. We would always be hand in hand skating or just walking. Every time a guy said hi to me and I smiled, he would squeeze my hand, which meant “ Bss.. Tdreen a3’aaar “. Most of the time I would do it on purpose. Just smile at a guy and watch his reaction. He once nearly got in a fight with a guy who smiled back at me. But I told him to calm down. It was cute. Everything about him was cute. Everyone in skate knew about us so they knew to back off me. They all knew what Majed was capable of. He once beat up a guy for giving me his number. I felt so bad. People always talked about us. Every time I was alone they would always ask about us and see how our relationship was going. Every single time it was a different answer because every day with him is something different. Most girls at skate hated me because we were together and were jelous. They would always try and flirt with him bs ma y36eehm wayh which pissed them off even more. But I think that’s what changed us. Girls were jelous of our relationship.

A year later – Summer ‘11

Nothing much has changed. We still have our late night talks and laughs. Our relationship was growing and we were happier than ever. It was summer and every one in my family travelled. It was just me & Dalal alone at home. We decided to go skating because we knew Majed and 3li would be there. When we arrived it was 4 and the session started at 4:30. So we had 30 minutes to spare. I got in his other car – the racing one, which was a pimped out Mustang. It was blue( because it was my favourite colour ) with a green stripe ( it was his favourite colour ). He had my initials on the back of the car which I found adorable. It was like our routine sitting in the car together. We talked and talked until it was time to go in. He told me we could stay just another half hour because he wanted to be with me. I loved how he sweet talked me all the time, it would always make me smile no matter how much of a bad mood I was in. I loved him and I couldn’t wait for us to get married.

Jenan: Majed mtta ntzwj? I want you to be mine oo 5las a7iis I cant wait much longer.

Majed: 7yaty awl ma tt5rjain I will marry you 7ta itha ahliich ygoloon la2. ANA ABEEEEEECH KAIIIFY!

He kissed my hand and cheek again and again. He asked me:

Majed: Jnouun we’ve been together for more than a year. Why cant we ?

He checked his phone. This began to turn into a fight. It was the first time in months that we fought. I couldn’t  believe it. It was going to turn into something bad and we were just going to end it. 6 months ago we had a fight and it was bad. We didn’t talk for 2 and a half weeks. I couldn’t bear it so I called him and we talked it through and everything was ok. But now, it was different. It showed the anger and sadness in his eyes. Was he going to cry? No way. He was silent for a moment and then…

Majed: Jenan 6l3ay brra Oo go inside. Ana ma ra7 adiish. Im going home

Jenan: Majed please lat9eiir chthy. Baby this is for your own good.

He was trying to stay calm.

Majed: Jenan sm3ay klamy wla 9ij b9eiir shay oo I don’t want it to.

He looked at his phone, typed something and I left. I heard his loud engine fade down the road. Why? Why did he do this. We could have made up or something. How does he expect me to go skating when im in a state like this. I pretty much knew everyone in skate so I said hi  to everyone and went to put my skates on. My mum got me new skates. I already had hockey skates but she got figure skates. They were white and I got bright green and pink laces to mix. Every time I’d go skating, I’d bring alternate. As I was putting them on, Majed’s best friend came to me. His name was Khaled. We were best friends too. We laughed together and were out together, sometimes with Majed sometimes without. But I knew Majed didn’t mind because Khaled was already in a relationship and he was very trustworthy.
